The observations have been obvious regarding the need of employability of the UCP students and the methods that can be made use of to create a better employability status with the help of Linkedin.
The paper reveals that the data that has been analyzed has been with respect to the literature review and the research methodology and it is seen that results have been obtained with the help of the secondary sources with respect to Linkedin. Italso makes them able to carry out marketing themselves for recruiting through such channels and they will never miss the opportunity to prevent themselves within the positive light and employ social media that will help them gain a desired job. It is also recommended to the UCP students that they must consider employ LinkedIn as an effective business oriented social networkingsites, as this is one of the major sites of searching job. Students are also recommended to develop their LinkedIn profile very effectively with attaching a professional photo and make sure that the LinkedIn page is quite effective in gaining huge attention of the employers through presenting their online CV in the LinkedIn profile effectively.
This is the reason for which the students are recommended to use social media through mobile-suitable careers website. Moreover, in developing an effective Linkedin profile the UCP students are recommended to keep their profile updated and mention job description within the LinkedIn profile. Moreover, the students require having great motivation, attitude and capability to manage time strategically in building effective LinkedIn profile. Certain social media tools are recommended to use by the students such as Face book, LinkedIn and Twitter facilitates the employers to attain a glimpse of job seekers in the social networking sites. While creating the LinkedIn profile job seekers must limit their recommendations to the people, they trust. Moreover, creation of LinkedIn profile must also consider making the profile presence known by others and information must be provided those are credible that should be research-based. Professionalism must be maintained in the LinkedIn profile that can be maintained through respecting other’s views along with avoiding conflicts of interests.The students must use social media channels as it can increase the chances of increased visibility and hiring managers consider these sites. This is for the reason that the professional and ideally suited of being employed within the recruitment process. The current research just focused on explaining the impact of LinkedIn in enhancing student employability through carrying out secondary research that relies on the available information sources online. Secondary data in investigating the research has been collected from secondary sources. The authenticity of the collected information serves as the major restraint that generates a hurdle between the findings of the current research and attainment of the research objectives. The professionals intend to indicate a positive image of the companies through not revealing the major concerns that has also served as a major drawback in the current research. Considering the same, the future research will consider carrying out primary analysis by conducting survey with the target students those find jobs through the social media channels. This questionnaire survey will offer a great understanding on the effectiveness of LinkedIn in increasing chances of getting employed and get found by the employers. The future research will focus on explaining the fact through primary research the ways in which the social media can make easier for the job seekers to traditionally focus on screening the candidate’s profile. The current research does not explain the impact of social media websites such as LinkedIn on social media recruitment. The future research will address such issue through explaining the ways in such social media is increasing with years and people using Twitter, Face book and LinkedIn revealed that it is not that surprising that the recruiters are benefitting greatly from these social media sites. Certain increase in the social media website use in recruitment ad jobsearch process will be explained in a detailed manner in the future research.
