“The Morning Beach” After a stressful day, many people would feel tired and want to do something to release their stress; everyone has in mind a place to escape to for relaxation. My place of relaxation is the beach, especially on a morning day. It was early in the morning, when the sky was still dim, I was walking on the beach by myself with my sandals off; as the tide hit on shore, the spray of water splashed on my skin, I felt like I had drank a glass of cold water on a hot summer day.
I can feel the sun’s rays hit my skin.
Walking farther down the shore my body gets consumed with cold chills as the texture of the grainy, wet sand squishes between my toes. The wind blows softly and moves my hair away from my face. At the same time my nose senses the smell of sun block and baby oil. At any other place, this would have annoyed me, but an ocean breeze has a effect on me.
The salty air blowing on my face felt wet and cool as it passed by; taking a deep breath. The beach was very quiet, but the seagulls peacefully chirp as they fly overhead, singing, and searching for food.
As the crash of the waves thunder through my ears, like a person playing the drums, loud and clear. As I looked back, the footprint I left showed my path; suddenly, a wave broke on the shore, fading away the mark I had left, and then it disappeared.
Looking out to the shore, I saw nothing but the deep blue sea, it was as far as your eye can see. The sun little by little, rising up from the edge of sky. The light painted the sky with red, as if the sky was on fire. Surfers wearing their bright colored body suits grabbed their boards and headed for the unknown.
This is the nature of the morning beach; its quietness and sight you can’t find in the city. Here you don’t have to worry about anything, it takes away all your stresses. All of these things are endless beauties that the average person takes for granted. Now one can see why I love the beach so much. When I am at the beach I feel serene, relaxed, and very secure. I feel like I don’t have to deal with everything that’s going on in my life, at least for that moment in time.
