• The aim of the research article is to explore the nature and affect of line manager on employee career management

• METHOD

• • Qualitative Interview conducted on 20 employees of Finance Co. UK for identifying their career development opportunities

ARGUMENT

• Effective line managers are proper approachable and accessible
• They proactively identify the career goals and aspirations of employees
• Effective relationship between employees and line manager leads to effective career management process
• Proper learning and development through caregiving and training develops the future career of employees (Crawshaw & Game, 2015)

• Line managers are key agents to effective career management of employees
• Effective line managers are attuned, responsive to the development needs of the employees though proper learning and career management process

OBJECTIVE 

• The research article is aimed at exploring the impact of employee career management and promotion on organizational success

METHOD

• Survey method was used over 400,000 U.S. workers in successful USA companies for identifying the impact of promotion in organizational success

ARGUMENT

• Managing employee promotion and career management is the most powerful way of driving organizational success
• Employees have proper career development opportunities are more likely to put their effort in organizational success (Rohman et al., 2018)
• Solid promotion elevates the full potential of the employees

• Leaders can promote organizational success through effective employee career management and solid promotion

• As per Crawshaw and Game (2015), line managers are extremely important for properly accessing the career development needs of the employees
• As per Rohman et al. (2018), solid employee career management and promotion are the proper way which the leaders can use in leading organizational success
• The first article has assessed the importance of leaders in employee career management, whereas, the second article has assessed the way in which leaders can use solid employee promotion towards organizational success.
