Entrepreneurs are the visionaries who work to make the business successful through innovative ways. The social entrepreneurs contribute to the society through innovative planning (Gelec & Wagner, 2014). The social entrepreneur wants to do something not because of getting some financial benefits for the business plan he or she makes rather to solve the problems and offer the best services to the people. They concern more on offering services to the society than to get financial benefits. In this assignment an attempt has been made to identify the social entrepreneur traits of Dr. Sam Prince who has contributed his knowledge and skills for serving the people and conduct business in a different way. As a true social entrepreneur he has exhibited how an entrepreneur can excel in his business plan with the context of his Zambrero.
Entrepreneur does not initiate any activity for the same of money. They want to make something new and innovate for the good cause (Casserly, 2012). This becomes the passion of the entrepreneur to be creative. The entrepreneur does it for the unshakable sense of purpose. The passion of the entrepreneur motivates him or her do something he or she desire for (Rampton, 2014).
The success is compared to the ability of coming out of the failures and to go for doing another without losing the enthusiasm. A good entrepreneur learns from the losses or failures. The entrepreneur does not want to step down when he or she meets rough time (Cooper & Vlaskovits, 2010). They remain resilient & from the negativity they thrive off themselves.
The entrepreneur has to overcome many problems that come on the process of creating something new. The entrepreneur may face problems for funding and he or she may face competition. It is not easy to be an entrepreneur (Mueller & Thoring, 2012). Self confident & self motivated are two important traits of the entrepreneur. The entrepreneur expects the people to follow their innovation (Bjork, et al., 2013). The entrepreneur knows that he or she can only be creative and to make his or her idea a reality. The entrepreneur remains confident of their success (Campbell, 2014).
The business passes through two important phases. They are changes and challenges. The plan initiated in the beginning by the entrepreneur may be effective or may not be effective. The entrepreneur makes changes and meets the challenges in a flexible manner (Moogk, 2012). The new information encourages the entrepreneur to change their plan and during the change circumstances they make necessary changes.
The entrepreneurs are visionary. They always seek for the opportunity to make innovation. The entrepreneurs always seek to develop a new idea or to make an improvement in the existing product or even the service. The entrepreneur sees the future before it happens.
Sam is a successful key entrepreneur. He has learnt how there should be a vision to become a successful entrepreneur. He has multiples business plan. Sam ahs learnt that as an entrepreneur his primary concern is to serve the people instead of making money. As an entrepreneur, he has strong sense of self. He believes in offering care and education to people. He becomes very flexible and his approach and makes amendment when he feels there is a need of change.
The successful e social entrepreneurs are very desirous to make self correction. The most of the successful ventures begin with a wrong business plan. The course of alteration occurs in the process of the development of the plan (Ravilochan, 2010). The entrepreneur learns success after a great effort of humility, courage and hard-headedness.
The entrepreneur gives credit to the people who are involved in the process of the innovation. The teammates are required to be given due prestige for their contribution. The entrepreneur acknowledges the contribution of the team members for the successful outcomes of the plan (Crawford & Benedetto, 2011).
The social entrepreneur mixes the thinking & the structure of the different disciplines to have an integrated goal. The aim of the social entrepreneur is to serve the society with a kind of thing that will be very important for the common people.
The desire to be someone encourages an entrepreneur to do something. The entrepreneur goes on doing the thing quietly in order to get success and this helps him or her to get recognition.
The entrepreneur wants to give social justice. They do not want to become famous in the future. The innovation is drawn from the aspects what is right and wrong. The social entrepreneur makes everybody realize how they are leading their life (Kreafle, 2011).
Dr. Sam is a doctor by profession and he was encouraged to do business because of his entrepreneur skills. The entrepreneur is a medical entrepreneur. The pursuit of the financial gain before the care of the patient is a challenge for him. Sam felt that as doctor the primary focus of him is to save the life of the people. Thus financial gain from the business is a very challenging job for him. Sam becomes very serious when he treats the people and feels very happy after the treatment. This has been found when he worked in the emergency department on one Saturday afternoon.
A true social entrepreneur, Dr Sam has contributed to the society. He says that education should be the primary concern of the people. Education can liberate people from the dire situations. For offering the best health care to the people it is very important for the people to be educated. Sam focuses on the two basic human rights. These two are education and health cares.. He discusses about his mother, Dr Thilaka Prince who topped the district in the final examination and she was from a very rural village. Sam says that he works hard and prefers to learn in the different situations. Prince says that the financial success of Zambrero brought him huge freedom. The idea of starting a restaurant came in his mind when he was at a Mexican restaurant. The willingness to do something new and unique promoted Sam to do some thing special
Most of the entrepreneurs do not like to work in the competitive environment. The entrepreneurs want to make their money. But Sam advocates that he gets motivated for his competitive environment. He says that he likes to get success where the stakes are high. But he says that his primary concern remains in the philosophy of service to the community.
Conclusion
