The objective of the project is to build up a web-based application system for Social Media research centre. Before the development of the web based application system the project manager is required to make a feasibility study rather financial analysis to determine the actual project budget. The project manager is willing to replace the traditional or manual project detail management approach in terms of advanced web based application system. The detail project objectives are as follows:
The project is found to be commercially beneficial for the consumers and for the project owners also. With the help of the web based application system the consumers will be able to access the information from the server regardless of their location and time as well. Apart from this, the publication details and project details could also be accessed by the project manager and by the consumers of the research centre. Basically in order to promote the research centre the social media research centre is willing to develop the web based application system.
The measurable value of the social research centre is to promote their operational as well as functional excellence by developing a web-based application system within their organization. It has been found that after successful completion of the project the consumers will be to get the information regarding the publications, PhD programs and other project details than the previous systems. In addition to this, the developed system will also help to grab huge number of consumers efficiently. From the business aspects it has been found that the cutting cost will become lesser and for continuous growth of the organization this application is found to be quite beneficial.

Better: The quality of the web based application system developed by the Social Media Research Centre is very much important in order to promote their system. Quality is referred to as one of the most important measurement factors, which is essential to grab consumers by sharing accurate information regarding the publication and project details as well.
Faster: The system is needed to be faster so that both the project manager and the project team members could access information from the server whenever required. Apart from this a lesser access time will also help to increase the overall efficiency of the application.
Cheaper: Cut off cost is another important measurement factor for the web based application system. If the overall cut off cost gets reduced then, in further development if extra budget is required then that could be allotted. Even with the reduced cut off cost the financial pressure will get reduced efficiently.
Do more: Technology is evolving everyday therefore, in order to meet the requirement of the consumers and to satisfy them continuous technical development is very much important from the commercial perspectives of the research organization.

After analysing the project prospects and the expected outcomes of the project manager it has been found that there are certain acceptance criteria those are required to be considered for completing the project within the allotted time phase. With the help of the acceptance criteria the project manager and the consumers will be able to identify the actual need of the consumers. Moreover, it can be said that the main acceptance criteria of the project is to deliver the project within the estimated budget and within the allotted time period that is 8 months from the project initiation or commencement. The requirement of the projects should be approved accordingly by the project manager and by the other members of the project management authority such as the financial manager, operational manager, social manager and business strategy development manager.
The unnecessary requirements are needed to be eliminated from the list of resources to avoid the additional project cost. In the project initiation phase different project assumptions are made by the project manager with official support of the project team members. Before developing the web based application system for the Social media research centre a budget for the project is being estimated which is the initial assumption. After that, in order to develop the system the basic requirements in terms of hardware, software and other digital advances are also assumed by the project manager of “Social Media Research Centre”. After making a feasibility study, again it has been determined that the maintaining all the project criteria the entire project could be completed within 8 months with AUD 50000.00.
In order to prepare the project, triple project constraints such as project cost, t project schedule and project scope have been determined by the project manager. In order to develop a web based application system for automatic data management for the social media research centre it has been determined that AUD 50000.00 overall project budget is needed. The cost estimation is the responsibility of the project manager and of the finance manager. in order to minimize the overall work burden, the large project is divided in small activities and the sub activities are then allotted to the project team members. The schedule also helps to determine the required time for the project completion. If the activities are not separated accordingly then operational as well as intra- organizational conflict might occur. On the other hand the complete project documentation helps to deliver the scope of the project which implies that to grab huge number of consumers and for managing sensitive data efficiently, the web based application system developed for Social Media Research Centre, is beneficial enough.
