The blue fish media design is a well established premier website design and a multimedia designing company that is situated in Chicago and it mainly deals with the designing of the websites for the various companies.
However the websites are currently being used by the various companies in promotion of their business and reduction of the expenditure where various companies uses the website technology to advertise their products, communicate with their customers, providing the business information, increase their sales, to maintain their clients, to enable the clients access the information anytime from anywhere, connecting to the other markets and also to reach to more clients and audience.
Currently due to good service delivery to the clients the blue fish media company had increased the number of clients and this report cover the analysis and design of the Le Expensziv company which is a French restaurant that offers the various dishes of delicious meal at a very fair price, this company require a website in order to be able to reach more customers and increase their daily sales as a result.

While developing this website there are various groups of people that are being targeted to be using the website to book services or understand the various services offered in the restaurant (Pfeiffer 2015).

Color scheme
During the design process the color scheme of the website is one of the major things to put into consideration where the background colors, the text color, the links color, the footer, body and the heard colors are selected accordingly (Marcotte 2011).
Below is the proposed website color scheme.
The footer background color.
The links hover background-color.
Below table summarizes the selected color schemes and their justifications.
Website section |
Color scheme |
Justification |
The header background color. |
Pink color |
This color was selected since it is not so bright color and it is attractive to the users of the website. |
The body background color. |
Light blue |
The color selection was to differentiate the header and the body content this will highly work together with the website’s call of action. |
The footer background color. |
pink |
The footer color is pink and this color selected is to have uniformity with the header background color so that the users to have the consistency in the website. |
The menu background color. |
pink |
The menu background color selected is pink and it was selected in order to observe uniformity with the header color which is also pink in color and they should have same color since the menu is within the header container. |
The text color. |
white |
In this website the selected color was white and it was selected in order to ensure that the background match appropriately with the color used. |
The links colors. |
white |
However all the links are given the white color in order to make them visible and clear to the website users. |
The links hover background-color. |
blue |
The menu will have a blue hover color which was selected to enable the users to know the menu they had selected |
Active link background color |
Red |
The active link is the home link that is having the red background color indicating that it is the currently active link. |
In the website design process there are various ways to make the web pages layouts which include the following:
Ice page layout.
This type of the page layout does not have any change in terms of width even if the browser width changes but it remains narrow and can be viewed by the users very comfortably at any type of resolution selected by the designers (Cederholm 2015).
However all the website contents at times is located any part of the web page since it uses either left, right or even centered alignments but maintains the web page width.
Jello page layout.
This is type of page layout that the designer uses to design the web page and in this the various page elements stretches and adjusts to the fit in the screen’s width while others remains with fixed width.
However the jello web page contents can have either the left, right or centered alignments or those components can move depending on the screen resolution but the page contents that are set to have fixed width they maintain the width size even if they move with the resolutions.
Liquid page layout.
This is the other type of the page layout that is used by the developers where the page elements moves and stretches depending on the width of the screen ,however the text in the web pages tends to re-wrap in order to match the new screen widths.
However in this page layout the images/photos/graphics they do not stretch according to the screen width unless they are stretched by use of adobe flash player which make the locations to change as well.
In this case the website pages had been designed using the jello page layout as justified below.
In the website design the type of font is highly considered in order to ensure the content and the text is visible and attractive to various website visitors and they can read the content without much constrains, some of the features that are put into consideration are the font faces, weights and the sizes as justified below for various types of the web components (Casciano 2010).

Conclusion
The restaurant website designing process had involved various processes which includes the identification of the user expectations, the target audience and clients ,the importance of the website ,analysis of the existing competitors , identification of the principles of the web design ,selection of the font properties including the font face ,font weight and font size. However the report covered the type of the page layout that will be used in the designing process of the entire website where the sample page is presented. The development of the website was done after successfully selection of the page layout where the designing process was carried out using the html and css programming language.
Therefore the implementation of the website will have positive impact on the restaurant where the number of target customers will increase, the communication between the restaurant and customers will also be improved, the restaurant will be able to publicize and advertise their offered meals and drinks, the customers will be able to have access to the restaurant information and the customers will be able to order for meal or dish at any time regardless of the location.
