The company uses five priorities based globally that can impact the supply chain which are building of brand, innovation, implementation, driving the cash returns and productivity. In connection to the innovation, the supply chain particularly based on three important drivers which are sustainability based on environment, advantages from technology as well as digitization the current value chain (Chalikias and Skordoulis, 2016).
PepsiCo Inc. has maintained to have a strong base for collaboration since it is most crucial for the supply chain. For example, the organization has been an initiator in the growth of direct store delivery also called as DSD model. The overall concept of this model is based on removing the steps in warehouses while being part of the process of getting high amount of turnover with high volume like soft drinks or snacks in the market. The supplier of DSD usually free up the warehouse space for number of retailers and are also able to get better handle for the product sales as well as inventories (Chalikias and Skordoulis, 2016).

With the help of incorporating the technology of wireless, the company has accounted for sales managers that can take order on site and is also sometime upload a central based order along with routing system with the help of wireless connection (Robertson et al., 2016).
